Bio: Jeanne’s first career was as a special education teacher in Michigan. After moving to San Diego in 1973, she completed accounting and business classes at the graduate level at San Diego State University. Three years of accounting experience with a large international firm convinced her that she wanted to work in a smaller practice, more conducive to personal service and care.
Jeanne has integrated her teaching experience into her accounting career by teaching accounting seminars for SCORE (SBA workshops). She is a member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants (AICPA), the California Society of Certified Public Accountants, and the Tax Division of the AICPA.
Outside of work, Jeanne enjoys reading and browsing antique stores. She belongs to a fitness group, with a goal of participating annually in the Carlsbad half-marathon.
Jeanne’s daughter works in the field of international education and her son is pursuing a career in managerial accounting and finance.
